Its green now with SLS and the Falcon Heavy, we can shoot that nasty waste right back into the sun now until/if we figure out fusion.

Nuclear power doesent worry me, where I live when the missles hit I'll be amongst the first to be vaporized anyway.

There's a couple nuclear engineers I follow on tiktok. It's been very eye opening listening to them debunking most myths about nuclear energy. Sure seems like nuclear power is the way to go in the future if we want any chance to keep up with power demand. Yet so many people are under the impression it creates tons and tons of radioactive waste that we don't know how to deal with. And that doesn't seem to be the case. I wouldn't care if there was a nuclear plant in my county

Really, it mostly creates steam that turns a turbine. I get it.

We've just had some incidents over the years...

As someone who makes his living from hauling fossil fuels, I am completely cool with woke luddite leftists demonizing nuclear energy.

    ✊ Hell no, we won’t glow!!! ✊

The reality is....if we(the modern world) hadn’t rushed nuke in the 70s
Therefore creating nightmares like Chernobyl and TMI....we’d have been mostly all nuke generation by now.
The downfall of the former Soviet Union slowed it even further.....
When you consider how much of our massive Naval fleet is nuke powered.
Along with the whole green push.....especially electric vehicles.....
I’m pretty well convinced the majority of electric power world wide will be nuclear at some point this century

    bzinger Thanks this.

We know how to deal with it.

We got deep caves and caverns and we just store it under ground with guards and a fence with KEEP OUT on it.
