O.C. Tech trucking school, My story

Ok....I'm really venting today..
Some of you may already know my story, I'm the out of work,and beatin, broke down "soon to be ex" house wife of a truck driver.
I enrolled in tech for the truck driver school.
Paid mine and boyfriends tuition of $6000.
Have been going faithfully to class every flipping day and on most days an hr early to learn my pre-trip.
My grip?.........The last 8 days I've only had 1 1/2 hrs of drive time.
Last week only 2!
I've seen the pre-trip 2 times since the start of class.
The last pre-trip I was advised to record it and learn it on my own!
The trucks constantly break down. Last week, right as I was going to turn onto the interstate, the air line to the seat burst! Air pressure was fading fast! Back to school to sit out another class!
On top of all this crap our actual driving test at the DMV is only 4 classes away. We are so screwed!
All together driving time for me has been 8 1/2 hrs........and those hrs were fudged!
I've actually only driven about 4 1/2 to 5 hrs.
And the instructor from day class wants to know why we can't get the hang of it!!!!!!DUH!!!!
So, my question is................Is this typical? Is it because I'm not "catching" on like a good student?........Or am I getting the vaseline treatment here?
I'm going today to speak with the director over the program but for some reason I feel like the blame will be directed at me for not being a good student.
Guess I needed to add also that our trainer's first night was our first night of class. He was left alone with us after the classroom part of the training was finished. He has only 1 yr of OTR experience behind him. AND he leaves the classroom at 10pm to go to his full time job! He's never trained students that didn't already have their CDL's!
The only training he's done was at TMC on the road test for new hires......
OKAY EVERYBODY.....what's wrong here and what should I do?
