FYI to anyone thinking about leasing with Schneider. They will no longer accept any old reliable trucks. You will need to have a 2010 or newer tractor and it must have collision mitigation system installed. The sad thing is they are forcing their O/O drivers to comply with this also and have given them until August 2018 to install a $10,000-20,000 collision mitigation system or they are let go. I watched a good safe long time O/O quit this week, very unhappy. This company has changed a lot in the past 3years. I've seen alot of things happen that make me believe they don't care about their drivers at the end of the day. A few associates do but the company as a whole doesn't in my opinion. You are a number.

I just say boycott the Megas! They're one of the reasons why trucking is going downhill.

Has there ever been a time when a driver wasn't "just a number" at Schneider? I guess maybe 70 or 80 years ago lol.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
