    What is a combo driver at OD ?

    A combo driver is a driver that will be doing p&d and linehaul. They might have you do p&d today and then linehaul tomorrow.

    I was thinking it was Dock and driving , thanks for the clarification .

    It will probably have some dock work involved. It is not going to be just one thing. At least that is what is was in Roanoke.

    I thought OD drivers didn't work the dock , is that a new policy ?

    I do not work for OD just saying it did where I worked. I was just responding to where you thought it included flock work.

    Oh ok .

    I seen another ad that said it would be line haul , p&d and possible yard work .

    All hourly pay , pretty good to , it starts at $ 21.80 and hour . Not too shabby for a non union company .

    No that is not shabby to start out. Have you tried to apply with them? I tried in Roanoke Va. but they aren't hiring. I did ltl for 8 years and now I work for a company hauling windows. Still ltl but different atmosphere. I would love to be owner operator it may or may not happen.

    I did today , didn't get to talk to anyone though . $21.80 to $24.60 something starting wages .
