I'm fixin to head to Alaska and make $120,000 in 90 days then come back home and go fishing for the rest of the year. Glad I logged on truckers report today or I would've been left in the dark

Me too, sounds like a great deal. If it is on here, then it must be true.

It's been like that for the 40 years that I can recall.

No its the other way around. Alberta used to be the place to go. Even after everything crashed in 2008 and oil was down where it is now, I still found a job in under a week. Not so now and apart from oil being down, the rest of the economy is in better shape than it was in '08.

Not sure how old you are. Maybe not old enough to remember?. I remember folks leaving Ontario to head "out west" 30-40 years ago. Eventually things returned to earth and they all came back.

True enough. It comes in cycles I guess. I definitely wasn't around back then. I'm in my mid 20's lol.

I make 26$ an hour local hauling fuel in tanker trucks from 2800 gallon up to 11,400 gallon. Lots of OT

You could check out Lynden transport. They are pretty large in Alaska. Not sure what they're making but I heard it's good. Not sure what they're hauling either. But they have great benefits and a nice amount of free life insurance (I think double your annual wages), and then you can add more on top of that. I work for one of their divisions in Washington. I'm making decent pay. They're worth checking out at least.

PAC Freight or Fairchild. Fairchild is hiring now. Summers lots of fish going south and Veggies/Food coming North. Winter lots of SW available too.

So info is exaggerated and simply not true I guess

But anyway if 150K a year is achievable as a company driver still not bad
