Today its the Puget Sound Wa but our next stop wont be North Carolina as planned because of washed out roads due to the Hurricane damage to roads. We will have this view another day as they figure things out.

That’s a horrible sight, you need to dead head that truck to see the great scenes in Detroit like this …

I spent the night just north of Detroit at my receiver. Was nothing but manicured lawn and beautiful trees. Slept soundly for 12 hours without another truck in sight. Woke up at 4am thinking someone was breaking into my truck.

Figured I’d be in jail by 5am but it ended up being my cell phone dropping off my bed and causing a racket. Pulled my big boy pants up and hauled tail out of the area before the morning clown show started.

At the TA now in Dexter if you would like to bring me some breakfast :)

I think I know how to fix your view in Detroit. All you need is a little fog like we have this morning.

Seeing I am promoting Detroit, it was at one point the center of Rock for a long time, you may have heard of these bands who played at a place I posted below. The bands who played there; MC5, Led Zeppelin, John Lee Hooker, the Yardbirds, Cream, Pink Floyd, Canned Heat, the Jeff Beck Group, The Byrds, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Chuck Berry, Howlin' Wolf, the Velvet Underground, the Steve Miller Band, Country Joe and the Fish, Jimmy Hendrix, the Doors, J Geils and The Who (who got their start here). Those in bold are ones I saw there.

The place was called Grande Ballroom, which it was at one time. This should have been the place for the R&R hall, not Cleveland (puke).
