Oil mixing with coolant in reservoir

Should have bought a D12 engine.

 

I really need to have it repaired.was wondering if anyone found out what the problem was. The radiator was full of oil.

Had a new oil cooler installed... With the same problem... I'm really out of ideas

 

What kind of engine ? which engine model ? How many miles on it? Are sure after the repair the engine oil level was full? Are you sure the cooling system was clean after the repair ? Ben

 

Two options.

1) Drive it until explodes, which won't take long.

2) Take it to the dealer, or Cummins or Detroit and let them figure it out.

 

Should be the oil cooler but you said you changed that. What transmission do you have? Does it have a trans oil cooler? Most likely it does. It could be that. Same thing will happen.

Is there any coolant in engine oil?
Is there any coolant in transmission?

 

.... ok so it was the oil cooler... I pressure tested the old one the first time and no leaks were visiable until a friend told me to first flush out the OIL COOLER with GAS. As soon as I did this and re- pressure test the oil cooler and sure enough the LEAK WAS FOUND... BAD OIL COOLER

 

For me it was the transmission cooler.
