    Will oil and gas or trucking companies allow someone form the National Guard or Reserves?
    Reserves and NG have The Uniformed Service Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994.

    That service is classified as Military Service. You do have to be DOT certified to drive anyway. Even the VA will get you into Training, including Aviation and others.
