I don't know about other brands, currently. The FLD 120 95-99, I have easily found the parts needed for repair. Usually in stock at the dealers. Or available after a couple days for shipping. Reasonably priced.
My truck has only been towed 2 times since I bought it in 2013. Trans failure, air compressor failure oh and a 3rd when I had the truck towed from one shop to another when I had the motor replaced last May.

1) cab airbags still not in. Been a month
2) Motomirrors. Freightliner cant order them and Peterbilt has no answer to lead time.singlescrewshaker and shooter19802003 Thank this. -
Mine needed a ton of work to get rolling too. I just kinda fixed it up as I went along. Still have a full page of needed repairs and upgrades 6 years later.Final Drive, wore out, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
