Zienith Freight Systems?
They must be some dedicated contract hauler. They have day cabs and a lot of rental trailers. They have an alright fleet of trucks. Who do they haul for, there trucks are mostly day cabs and concentrated in a single area you guys know anything about them? They seem to be crawling all over Aberdeen.
Also east coast furniture chain Bobs Discount Furniture they seem to be pretty busy see a lot of there trucks.
However what does Zienith Freight Systems do?
One more thing:

Zenith Freight Systems, you appear to offer a complete logistics moving, including Overseas.
I remember a old Bendix Moving Operation in Joppa off the west side of 40. OR was it green spring? I am losing it.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
We have hubs in MD, IN, FL, MS, CA, and multiple home delivery locations across the country.
We are the core carrier for , and are owned by, Bassett Furniture, and employ over one thousand people nationwide.
We are financially solvent and continue to grow at an incredible rate each year and have have never experienced any lay offs.
Driver pay is above average.Pintlehook, skinnytrucker and Mike2633 Thank this. -
Zenith has a location next to Clorox in Aberdeen MD, see them quite a bit down that way. Always wondered what they hauled, with all those single-axle tractors yanking 53's around.

BUT, rumor was that the hourly wage in Aberdeen was $20+.. dunno if thats within a radius of the terminal and mileage picks up when on a New England or Upstate peddle run. I can't say, but I'd be willing to bet that's the case.
You get paid for every thing that you do.. no freebies..
You're generally provided with a company card to secure hotel rooms while on your 10hr, or overnight break awaiting the next days stops.
This is a PHYSICAL JOB. It's not a back breaker, but you are required to assist and at times unload the freight when the customer has no help. It happens. If you like to sit in the cab, this is not the job for you.
Insurance is BCBS. I can't say for other hubs, but it should be company wide... employee is FREE. Family was around $100wk. Very reasonable dental/vision. Deductible on health is steep @$3500 and no copay, with prescription @$4/ $10/ $20. I had an operation that spiraled out of control and the bill has totaled nearly $400,000 to date. My out of pocket has been $3,500. So, it worked better for me than 80/20 especially since I pay no premiums.
The equipment is well maintained and modern. We use Qualcomm and have EZpass for tolls etc.
As far as I know , all the 5 boroughs freight is handled by a couple of employees that live on the Island and handle that area specifically.
Hope this helps.speedyk, Pintlehook and Mike2633 Thank this. -
I wonder if there is a Zenith Facility in Chicago? West Central if memory serves.
I realized I have hauled out of Zenith there with some of the tightest packed row of trailers against the wall. And remember that facility because of the difficulty extracting said trailer from there. Was that one and same?Mike2633 Thanks this. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.
