It seems like guys that haul them a lot would want something like you mention, who knows why they don’t have anything like that that would just cover the whole bed or trailer. I bet MN will be watching these loads from now on though.

You make a halo out of chain and then secure that over the boulder with 4 points to the bed

Yea I worked for a guy once who was always bragging about how a guy who has a construction company around here had a skidloader fall off the trailer and they just tipped it back up, loaded it, and went their, and I'm going yea and what if it had landed on somebody's car you moron.

4 point halo to keep it from moving. And then throw a couple across the top INDIRECT style to cover the WLL if its really big/heavy.

You can get cargo nets. They make ones to use as a sort of bulkhead for vans. The place to look is the companies making aircraft cargo systems. Most likely a custom made product due to the minor modifications for truck use.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

That's insane. I don't even want to know what it cost to move that, all for an art exhibit?

    Rooster1291979 and Lepton1 Thank this.

That's what I've always done. Then a couple straps x crossed over it for good measure. While i don't hail them often I've pulled a coyote dozen loads of them overt the years. It really isn't that big a deal.
