Original Dash Cam 2, reviews?

    Anyone ever use "The Original Dash Cam 2" http://www.getdashcam.com/productsIFrames.php

    Usually sitting in the TA for 150. Been looking into it, I like that it has the telescoping lense thats zoomed in.

    But is dual lenses worth 150? I know I can get a basic one on ebay/amazon for around 30. Id atleast like something, been thinking about it since I started driving a few months back, but now im local in chicago, and with these idiots, and winter coming, I feel as if I need one.

    Get one from Amazon. The ones in the truck stops are the same quality and just marked up 500%.

    Caught this video using one that cost $21 from Amazon. The quality was a bit better before I uploaded it to YouTube.

    People are just stupid and in their own place when driving. Not sgure about the dash cam but im also looking into one my self.

    The white truck, a Risinger driver, moved over because he heard warnings on the CB. I didn't have mine on at the time.

    The two guys in the SUV were fine... Bruised but not seriously injured. They did catch the wrong way driver because he turned around and came back to the scene. Said he wanted to file a complaint that the SUV ran him off the road.

    State trooper called me a week later for an official statement. Said the guy was tested at .21 BAC.

    Don't waste your money on it. I got one at the TA in Wheatridge, Co and had the thing running while I was inside eating and doing laundry. Came out and went through the video and couldn't read one license plate and could onlu barely make out any writing on the sides of any tractor going by it. Its only 720P. It had some decent features but in the end the video was garbage. Just spend good money and get a good product.

    I just got the Drive HD by Cobra for $100. Continuous loop. High Definition (or less if you want). Great picture. You may want to look into it. I think it's worth every dollar I paid and wouldn't drive without it.

    Really great video for the SUV driver...

    I have two CAMs (dual cams actually...) I haven't caught any shooting like this one you have, but as I drive or parked I have my cams on, recording everything. Who knows, maybe some trucker drives like this one guy on this video, and just drive off, take a look:
