When you guys are pricing out an OS/OL load that will require a permit, do you give the customer the all in price (inclusive of the permit fees) or do you tell the customer it will be $x plus whatever the permit fees are?

All in price, don't forget to account for pilot cars if need

Ours is broken down, rate, FSC, Pilots, & anything else gets labeled under contract services. We do quite a few OS/OW trailers from the factory to our customer, they need DOT inspections, temporary plates & various other things before we deliver them, that stuff falls under contract services & they pay a premium for having us do it.

Never heard or seen that, could be though. It may just be a state by state thing, or it could just be a customer preferred thing.
I do know when I picked up my new trailer in January, it had a federal dot inspection sticker & the accompanying paperwork, but that was done by the dealer, not the factory.johndeere4020, Oxbow and Ruthless Thank this. -
