To maintain a high standard of driver quality, we have developed the following guidelines to help us in our selection process.


1. Applicant must be at least 23 years old.


2. Applicant must have at least 2 years’ experience driving 3-axle diesel tractor over the road

3. Applicant must have experience with and know the operation of refrigerated trailers. (Training Provided during Orientation)


4. Applicant must have an active D.O.T. physical or be able to pass one.


5. Applicant must have a good Motor Vehicle record to include:


a. No DWI violations in the last 5 years. (upon review of Upper Management).


b. No reckless driving.


c. No chargeable accident within 18 months or no chargeable accidents resulting in a fatality or in excess of $25,000.00 in damages.


d. Not more than three moving violations in the last 3 years.


6. Applicant must be able to pass a road test.


7. Applicant should be neat and clean.


8. Applicant must agree to and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen done through urinalysis.


9. Applicant must have 3 or less jobs in the past 12 months.


10. Applicant must be able to pass range of motion/physical capability test at IPTCC.
