I work for FFE and run team with my husband. When we worked OTR linehaul our normal runs were from East coast to West coast. Starting from NJ, NC, Georgia, or Fl. and going to Ca (Ontario or Stockton) or Portland, Or. Then headed back to the East.
FFE just started a new program for their linehaul teams in May. It is similar to what the Plasma team drivers get.

I didn’t read the whole thread. If you had your Hazmat. Some of the LTL companies would love y’all. At one point UPS was hiring off the street. There was also a thread on here about a husband and wife team that pulled for R&L and loved it.

You want to run back and forth to Texas. I'd be looking in Texas to be doing runs like that.

Texas is understandable.

I only trust LTL’s and UPS for teams. Reason is you’ll get home on time. UPS teams runs are dedicated not wild. LTL’s generally have freight going in every direction. My top two would be UPS and Old D. Hearing Old D is in the 80’scpm bracket now and UPS being the highest paid. Plenty of miles too. I’d go with these companies over any mega or big OTR companies. Pay and hometime is a good balance at these companies where OTR companies will want to keep you out. Unless that’s what you want to do.

I think it is over 84 cents a mile at Old Dominion.

Old D doesn't allow pets. Who is the highest paid who dose?
