A storm watch might be issued for this area focusing mainly on Western Arkansas as the newly developed line of storms progress east.

    http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0319.html

This will be a first of several posts I intend to follow some of the worst of the storms. The idea is that everyone in MS, TN (Memphis), KY and Illinois etc will be impacted sometime tomorrow morning.

As a side note you can expect a foot of snow in all maine in a couple of days.

Now bad weather is not the only problem, the rains should be enough to create flooding issues along places like Galloway Arkansas (Little Rock) for the smaller side roads. It only needs a few inches in a short time of rain to raise water along I-40 because it's mostly bottom land along the north side of that interstate from say white river crossing (Forest city) east towards Prothro Junction Arkansas.

I was a little slow in getting a thread started and will be occupied part of tonight and not update as much as I should. But I'll throw something up if there is something worth it to those of you planning to come down here below say I-44 MO all the way to Lake Charles LA tonight.

Once you get through tonight, expect a number of high wind issues and do battle there most of west Texas towards Denver on the old Raton Road.

A tornado watch is up in east texeas and a severe watch may go up north of Shreveport LA towards Sheridan AR. But the way things are going, this entire front is not yet violent and not yet a outbreak. It's mainly a rain event with some wind. Almost not really valued in terms of building a warning information thread. I'll follow it a while longer but it wont take much to abandon the effort if the system continues to show weaknesses.
