Outspoken Trucking Exec Warns Cities Defunding Police…”You’re Going to Run out of Food!”

Just cut off the food stamps!

 

The big carriers care about profit. They churn drivers out as it is, and will churn more if drivers refuse to go into the pro-crime zones. Because you can bet your paycheck they will never stop delivering to those areas when there is money on the table. Sure the smaller and independents might not go, but the Swifts of the world will.

I’m not normally PC, but you may have noticed my slight of words to protect the guilty.

 

Yeah, but how many trucks will they allow to get ransacked?

Experinced driver: “heck no, I’m not going.”

Rookie driver: goes and gets doors ripped off trailer, tractor spray painted and load refused.

Hmmm, fire him, get someone else.

Except now you’re burning through rookies even faster, firing people left and right with burned DACs, trucks are getting damaged, clients aren’t getting product. At some point even a mega has to get a clue.

 

One could only hope.
