overlength load requirements in texas

    I'm hauling a 60ft. load monday . I will have six feet overhang on front and back of the trailer . My question is do i need anything besides flags on theback of the trailer.

    Make sure you have a light on the back and signage.

    Yes. I also usually put a flag on the back of the load as well.

    Yea i always put a flag on even if i'm under the four foot limit. Thanks for the info.

    read the provisions on your permit,,each state is different,,some states want flashing amber lights some want flags some do not allow flashing amber lights read your permit

    on the west side, it's usually just flags for day and a red light of some kind for driving at night. anything over 4 feet on the rear.

    oregon is the only state that wants banners.

    CA needs banners as well with a red lihgt on the back.
