Transport National is looking for dependable Class A OTR Owner-Ops or Company Drivers and Escort drivers to join our elite team. We are a family operated company based in Oak Creek, WI, that travels the lower 48 States and Canada. We specialize in over-sized, over-dimensional, and heavy haul flatbed and specialized freight. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years experience with heavy haul, overdimensional, or oversized flatbed, a great driving record, and shows longevity at previous employers. We will review drivers that don't have the ideal experience, and sometimes will even hire recent CDL graduates. TWIC and Passport are required so our candidate will need to be able to obtain those if they do not already have them. We prefer our Escort drivers also have their CDL A. I'm not quite sure what reads "desperation" from this posting, but we are far from desperate. We've got all of our trucks filled with elite drivers, and if we find drivers that we'd like to add to the fleet we'll then add trucks to the fleet. We will accept students at times so we can give a great start to a career for someone that is interested in learning the OD side of the industry. We boast a 35% turnover rate...when drivers come they don't want to leave.

There are plenty of companies out there that are desperate for drivers, willing to take anyone with a pulse and a CDL, throwing thousands of dollars at drivers with sign-on bonuses and short-term perks, but that's not us. We're just honest people that make sure our guys get their home time, accurate pay for a hard day's work, and respect for the job they do and the people they are.

 

We're also looking for Owner-Ops to run under our authority, if that's more your interest. Pay is 65% of the load, 100% fuel surcharge, no forced dispatch ever. Must have experience with OD freight and tractor needs to pass inspection. True revenue upwards of $150k-$200k annually.
