$40K for a '98? There must not be any money in TV or ice road hauling, if they are trying to make a killing like that on old equipmnet.
-
he also made a deal with the history channel to lease him a truck for a year. as far as I can tell he is a jerk and he is proud of it. He is more worried about his load count than anything else. Last week he knew that load of heaters were loose and not tied down right but he chose to go with them then tried to slip out so he wouldn't get in trouble for the rub makers on the units. so he lost ALL my respect there and then....................not that he had that much anyway.

the truck is being sold by Rick Yemm not Hugh Rowlands. Wonder why?

I've never seen company drivers get all worked up about load count and running the wheels of trucks to get that load count.
I guess they juice everything up for the TV entertainment value...ampm wayne, bullhaulerswife and johnday Thank this. -
I noticed that as of a couple of minutes ago NOBODY had made a bid on it. Wonder if he would accept a bid of five bucks?

It looks like the asking price is in CDN Dollars, not USD. At todays exchange rate that would be like 30K USD

i remember the show, when that truck got wrecked! first off $40,000 for a rebuilt wrecked truck, and second ,it's been beat to death buy the ice road, ans salt on the other roads, third, it's a 1988???wtf the truck aint worth no more than $10,grand new rebuild or not,,,it's been wreck?????? guess being a big time ice road trucker, gives value to a old beat up rig
