New owner Op. Was curious if I need to report a warning to my insurance for closed road/ failing to observe a sign or markings?
Again it's a warning not a citation and should I tell the company I'm leased to? Will it go on my driving record?

Warnings go against your CDL just like a regular ticket. It will eventually show up. Always ask a lawyer about any tickets.

If there’s no inspection tied to it then you don’t have to tell the carrier.

There was another thread posted last week about a similar situation, nothing on the report and next thing he knows, he’s getting ding for the warning.
TX2Day Thanks this. -
And I had no citation or inspection. -
And since you got a warning and no inspection then it’s really no different than getting a warning in your personal car. -
DOT inspections give a copy to submit to the carrier.
Some DOT guys have figured out that a warning for a violation of a local statute on an inspection report ends up on the driver's PSP but a normal officer giving a warning does not show on your MVR.
