My issue is with the cab and sleeper. I am a bit of a klutz and tend to trip over the transition from sleeper to cab in a non integrated unit. I am also over 6 foot tall and getting to old, grumpy, and set in my ways. I will not stoop to walk through passageways.
On the Ultrasleeper: The roof is a spin off of the one they used on the 387.... that cute little demiroof over the windshield is about the same as on the 387 (and the western star for that matter). Can't reach the paper work on the dashboard while standing. And the overhead compartments are too close for comfort while bouncing down the road.
Just more proof that they do not consult actual drivers in their design process. The design process is driven by college educated marketeers and incompetent corporate equipment buyers.......
I don't give a rip about class (fashion) I want a functional truck. And for me Peterbilt can not fill that requirement.Western flyer, Brucely, driverdriver and 1 other person Thank this. -
The 567 isn't bad looking if you get the setback axle.
