Ozempic is a dangerous glp1 drug that alters what your body is trying to do. Folks think that weight loss is a good thing no matter what, but they do not understand how these drugs work. Glp1 is something in your body that is only released when you eat food, it slows digestion down and manages glucose and insulin. When your stomach is empty, you do not want glp1 doing this. So even when you do not eat anything, your insulin is made, and high levels of insulin can cause all sorts of problems, just look at the side effects of Ozempic.
Glp1 should respond only when food is being processed in your body, but when taken externally it is constantly present and telling your body not to eat anymore. That is what causes weight loss.
This is not fixing the problem of our bad eating habits, instead it lets people think that they can keep eating the foods they enjoy instead of getting healthy. So now they are still eating the wrong things and missing out on important nutrients. -
The "neck" effect is primarily a result of rapid subcutaneous fat loss occurring faster than the skin's collagen and elastin can retract. While this is a common dermatological side effect of GLP-1s, it is minor compared to the gastrointestinal motility issues many patients are reporting. A lot of people focus on the mirror, but this breakdown of Ozempic lawsuits highlights much more significant risks like gastroparesis and kidney failure. If the weight loss is accompanied by persistent vomiting or severe abdominal pain, that's a much bigger red flag than just loose skin.
