Hauling over width roof trusses (12'8 inch wide,) trusses struck utility pole. Didn't know till the police met me at delivery site. Being charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Usually when you break poles it's thousands of dollars chargeable directly to you to replace it and everything that was fried on it.

Theoretically if half a nursing home died on respirators out of power you could be hauled in for murder.

What is the rest of the story? Pennsylvania will not give you a lifetime disqualification for simply leaving the scene of an accident. You can be suspended for 1 year on first offence, but for a lifetime disqualification you need to have other serious traffic offences on your record.

Above is a link to the PA CDL serious traffic offense list, related section of state and Federal code and penalties.
