Permits and Training Required by Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to Prevent Spread of Spotted Lantern Fly, Effective May 2019 - Canadian Trucking Alliance

Permits and Training Required by Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to Prevent Spread of Spotted Lantern Fly, Effective May 2019

Says they will be looking for these permits and at your bill of ladings and logs to see if you stopped in any of the quarantine zones other than for fuel... surrounding states also will be checking, NY, DE, NJ...
*permit needed if stopping for any reason other than fuel and leave.

Does this mean the PA interstate system shutdown at the first sign of a dark cloud is over?

It means you will have to hide them like they hide drugs if you don’t want to get permits :biggrin_2559:

    Oh these things are everywhere.
We're at ground zero and our trailers are infested. Guess what? We go to California. Unless some natural predator develops a taste for them (hear wasps like them) these things will go nationwide soon.

    Rocks and jsnell Thank this.

Hey... no big deal... RIGHT?? :biggrin_25523: Just gotta do a thorough inspection of the whole freakin truck every time you leave a bug affected area.... and log ON DUTY.... :biggrin_1square1:

I happen to deliver tomorrow at a bug affected area in PA and then, will pick up somewhere in PA, deliver in PA and then reload in PA again.... 3 days running around picking up and delivering in PA.... OHhh... what a "JOY"....:angryfire:

Negative Ghostrider, you are free to engage, weapons free, terminate with extreme prejudice.

(Shame, because they're not ugly, and they don't bite. I hate a lot more bugs than them. Also they hop if you try to stomp them. They don't fly very far. But they are promiscuous breeders so if you see one you wil probably soon find more. Maybe even a swarm feeding in one spot.)
