Hey guys new here and currently working at a car dealership for 18 years now and its time for a change!!! Its my understanding that I can get a CDL-A however getting a job could be difficult from advice i have recieved froma local trucking school. Heres the problem--- HAd a misdemenor dui in 2000 and one in 2005,hoping the 2000 will not show up since its been over 10 years, however if it does show what are the chances of getting a yard jockey job. Ive since cleaned up havent had ANY TICKETS since 2005. any help would be appreiated before i try to make a careetr change!!

I couldn't believe TTR would repeat the BS about a driver shortage and encourage waste of taxpayers money on government training when such a high percentage of students leave the industry within a year . Shame on you TTR . :protest:

just curious there by any chance did you get ARD and not a dui since your from PA? If so It may have been expunged from your record. get a copy of your MVR, if it shows two may have problems. you may have to go to driver solutions and take your chance with being a slave for a year if you really want to do this.
