Paccar m18 air to air

2024 kenworth I installed a air to air shut off for emergency operated manually anyways the elbow that came with the road deaco valve keeps popping off and with that since it popped off we put more clamps on and then it got swelled into size of a cantaloupe

 

I spoke to the company and they can’t even tell me why it’s like that so I’m thinking to maybe move the air shut down further to the cooler compared to being close to the engine. We have another mx13 and it’s mounted close to the cooler. And just one bit air to air hose. I did look into pipes but no luck finding such here may have to look further into it
