Sounds awesome but I don't believe the guvmint is gonna be on board with this. Unfortunately they usually have the last laugh.

KW dealer down the road had probably over 100 new trucks sitting on the back lot and in the front yard a year ago. Drove past today and just a lonely W990 and T800 up front and the back lot looked pretty thin. Gonna be a while to catch up with new builds I think.

Paccar engineering is trying to figure out how to bypass the def quality sensor for trucks with that issue because they can’t get them.

Won’t be surprised to see a waiver till parts are available. Potential disaster pending on parts supplies. The local Oreillys say they’re short of rotors. Finally got a back order shipment of 300 delivered, only got 200.

If all these sensors don’t start showing up in the next few months we’re going to see a huge reduction in available trucks and a raise in rates. Consumers and shippers don’t want to see this. Pipe dream, make it a felony to have emission control items or elog on commercial trucks:) While we are at it, sentence all members of the ATA to 20 years in prison for lobbying Congress to kill small trucking companies.

They can’t, unless they get an epa and carb temp waiver and that won’t happen.

While posible especially with how much money paccar and cummings have to throw at lobbiests and policy makers. Or if things get really really bad here......we are far more likely to see a race of benevolent space aliens land on earth and give us the keys to the galaxy while all races, religions and creeds across the globe hold hands and sing kombyah.

Thinking more on it. To liberals diesels going down is a GOOD thing. It makes it easier to force us into electric trucks regardless of how actully practical it is.
