I talked to a local supplier and they haven’t had any warranty returns or problems with PAI inframe kits. They said Interstate McBee had a few head gaskets blow but pai had no issues, personally I’d use an OEM head gasket no matter what kit I buy just for peace of mind.

OEM head. I’ve been told, some of the aftermarket heads are being milled too much, causing problems.

I have the HP kit in a 2WS ... 100k miles no problems. Their heads are fine. But, If you have a cat. Aftermarket APC (american premium castings) is the best I know of.

Good thread. With some of the reboxed cat reman stuff I have seen..... As far as head gasket, I too would use oem, head bolts too, or ARP
As to the heads being milled too much, i would CC the chambers with valves in and seated and compare to original. I like to do it to all 6 chambers (combustion pockets) on any head and adjust accordingly to balance. Google cc'ing a cylinder head and you should find lots of stuff. It requires very little in the way of time or expense.joey8686 Thanks this.
