Hi guys I am in the DFW area and I am considering getting my CDL license. I do not have any truck driving experience. I am looking for non OTR home daily trucking jobs that offer paid CDL as well since I am not currently able to afford it myself. Where can I find these jobs? Is it even possible as a new driver? I also heard about paid CDL training from the Texas workforce commission. How would that work? Will I be legally bounded to a contract like in paid CDL training? Are my chances better or worst with this program at landing a job?
