Do you guys who paint the raised letters on your tires/ mud flaps use any type of special paint for rubber? Or will any acrylic type paint work?
Im looking to paint the raised letters on the flaps of the end dump I pull. I know they are going to take abuse and need touch ups, I just dont want to see the paint run or peel of the first time it rains or is pressure washed. I will be brushing, spray painting is not an option.
Thanks.

They make tire ink paint pens just for what you're trying to pull off
D.Tibbitt, homeskillet and Puppage Thank this. -
Paint markers are what the guys use that I know.

Nice idea. I wonder if clearcoat or lacquer could be applied effectively afterwards.
