Yes I would hate to disrupt all the radio traffic on channel 18 and 20

 

Not the point , the point is you do not have the right to disrupt the conversations on the other channels just so you can be the loudest radio in the truck stop.

I do have an attenuator pad I run between radios and my monitor but why would I want in install it permanately when I can simply tune the radio correctly to start with. Just say in, to me fixing the problem is better than bandaging the problem.

 

Hate with a passion talkin to someone and a wacked out splatter box is chattin on another freq....
Then you floatin up and down the ch to find them only to hear muffled radios talkin #### to one another with 300-500 or more watts argueing whos is better...Ill butt in and tellem both they are a splatter box cause i hear them on 19 when they are up or down 10 ch or more and they get pissy...Some just dont understand that wacked out power doesnt make for a quality sounding radio..I have recorded some of them and played it back for them to listen and suddenly not a sound from either one....Never sure if they couldnt hear any more of if they realized their hopped up super duper wacked out,coil spread,modulatored,peaked kitted radio sounds so bad......Or like in one of rabbis vids that some dude who spent a grand on his radio sounded poorly compared to a outta the box 955.....
