Two women were killed in a crash early Sunday in the South Deering neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.
A car was traveling south about 4:45 a.m. in the 10300 block of South Commercial Avenue when it crashed into the back of a parked semi truck, killing two 26-year-old women, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
Additional details on the crash were not immediately available Sunday morning. The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not provide information on the fatalities.
The police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.

I looked for that location on google maps and it doesn't appear to be a one way street.
So truck is parked facing the wrong way and the neon went straight instead of taking the curve in the road?lovesthedrive and PacoTaco Thank this. -
Maybe he stopped to get something to eat at Tres Amigos?
PacoTaco Thanks this. -

I looked up and down that block on Google Earth and can't figure out where it happened. It does appear to be a two-way street and the rig was facing the wrong way.
HalpinUout, tinytim and buddyd157 Thank this. -
@PacoTaco
Im 99.99999% sure it happened here. All the landmarks add up.
The accident photo has pallets by the car. This pallet company has a stack right by the road for their sign. -
