That kind it a little stiff to work with when laying under the truck. I picked up a roll of what we called "baling wire". It said "mechanics wire" on it. Just doesn't sound right.
Rideandrepair, FlaSwampRat and Swine hauler Thank this. -
Yeah but we go high class. Our family runs a crop dusting service so every once in awhile I swipe a spool of stainless steel safety wire.Rideandrepair and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

You will never have enough and will accumulate as you go. Tools, tools, and more tools! Pressure treated 4x4 and 6x6, crow bar, filters (if you run the OPS system then keep one on hand), emergency clean up kit (hazmat kit), numerous lights, I prefer cordless impact gun (air gun is backup), spare steel braided line from air dryer to compressor, spare injectors/gaskets/piston cooling nozzles/injector pass thru/ECM (all for N14), tire spoons (2 I carry are 5’ long), bead seater for stubborn tires, torque wrench, alternator/starter/belts/pulleys, spare nuts/bolts up to 3/4”, mudflap, nitrile gloves/coveralls, numerous heat shrink connectors, chains/straps (pulling someone out or if you get stuck), spare trailer parts if you run a reefer, hubcap gaskets, wheel seals, bearings/races, cab and chassis air bag, and I’m sure I’m forgetting things. Saw and blades.
Honestly there’s a lot to carry and it basically comes down to how comfortable you feel wrenching on your truck.Rideandrepair and HopeOverMope Thank this.
