DO NOT WORK WITH THIS DISHONEST BROKER! COMPLETE DISPATCH ERROR AND CONTRACT TRAP!
They will burn your hours, lie about warehouse schedules, and leave you stranded on a city street without paying a dime. Avoid them at all costs!
- Blind Pickup: At shipper arrival, the broker hid the delivery address. Even the shipper had no idea where the cargo was going, providing a blank BOL with only the product name.
- Hidden Details: We were forced to leave the facility blindly. The broker finally disclosed the destination over the phone only after we were already rolling down the highway.
- 5-Hour Detention: We arrived at the first stop (Stop & Shop DF) for a 05:00 AM appointment. Due to a product rejection, they forced us to wait 5 full hours just to reload the freight and get our papers.
- Closed Second Location: The broker re-consigned us to a second location (33 Beacham St, Chelsea MA) with a tiny $100 add-on. Upon arrival, the facility was completely closed. Local workers confirmed they do not open until midnight.
- The Rate Con Trap: The broker sent us to a closed facility in the middle of the day due to their own poor planning. They then refused to pay any layover or detention, hiding behind a sneaky "no layover on produce" clause in the contract.

Half of that is your fault for not knowing or not negotiating how accessorial pay would be paid in the rate con, also why did you accept a blind shipment?Last edited: Jul 14, 2026
firemedic2816, snowlauncher, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -
Sorry this happened to you. Blind shipments are very common. Usually they tell you it is a blind shipment, and they tell you where it is going and advise you not to tell the shipper.
Me personally, I ask about detention before I book the load, if they don't pay detention I dont book the load.Last edited: Jul 14, 2026
FLHT, Toomanybikes and Speedy356 Thank this. -
Blind shipments are a shifty way for the middle man(broker) to hide the source of the goods from the recipient. They don't want the reciever to be in direct contact with the shipper because they probably wouldn't need a broker for load bookings.
