Pedestrian Struck & Killed At Loves Truck Stop

If found out driver was flying they the lot or just plain negligent. I hope they bury him under the jail. Absolutely no reason for this crap.

 

Number 1 rule I was taught in drivers training 40 years ago.

Don't speed in residential neighborhoods and parking lots.

You never know when a child or pet is going to pop out in front of you

My Doberman got hit by a Dominoes pizza delivery guy in front of my house when she took off after a cat across the road.

She was thrown 300 feet down the street in a 25 mph zone. Dumb kid must have been doing 70 and denied he was speeding.

I was so pissed I almost had to bury him with her .

 

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog in such a manner. Cops and the threat of jail time keeps me in line.

 

Reminds me of places where I see that the police station is in a shopping center like the one in North Little Rock Arkansas.

My wife was with me and we were walking in the parking lot coming out of a restaurant, crossing the parking lot, and right as we were about to cross to get to our car, in the parking lot, a cop flew past us going at least 40 between the cars in the parking lot and if we were about another 10 feet ahead we probably would have got ran over because it was raining and really foggy and wet.
