Actually the Trump administration gave him a CDL

Trump administration didn’t remove the illegal
Both facts can be found in your link to the Boston Herald (RW rag) you posted

Your not wrong and i dont disagree. Hell last month i blew the primary air line on my truck and pulled entirely off the road into a turn lane so i could pop my spare on.....which reminds me i need to get a new line while im on home time.... Anyway on topic, you had the whole turnlane in between me and my truck and i was entirely in the dirt as well. Still had my triangles run over and one guy swereved at and "pretended" to try and hit me. Not my truck, me. And watching the guys pass, half of them were texting and going across the line well into the turn lane.
Would have limped it firther but with no air pressure and the next pulloff at all being a good 15 miles up the road it was where i stopped or middle of the road.
But with all the unknowns of this case its hard to say the cop was wrong either. And with it coming out the driver was an illegal. I think there was more to this case then is apparent at first sniff.86scotty and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
I seriously believe it’s the feel you “need” to move over. They get lost in the mirror, and drift without realizing it.
I look in the mirror once to see if I can get over.If Icant,I put on my flashers and slow down to where I can stop if need be.My main focus is the vehicles and occupants on the shoulder and not checking over, and over if it’s clear yet.wore out, Arctic_fox and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
From what I’ve read it happened on a straight stretch of road and they were well off the travel lane yet the semi left their lane and struck the officer. To me it sounds like they were too busy playing with their phone.D.Tibbitt and Arctic_fox Thank this.

This photograph of the accident scene, it appears that the trooper had stopped the vehicle to be inspected at one of the wide spots along that section of I-81.
Some of them are closed rest areas, some are potential inspection locations commonly blocked off to prevent unauthorized parking.
