1,000,000,000 + 1,000,000,000 - 1,064,000,000 = a loss if 64,000,000, but it's not under zero. They have their capital and investors. You ever hear the phrase "you've got to spend money to make money?" That's what it refers to. Businesses don't exist by just selling what they have. They have to make it first.

 

That's not how a P&L statement works. You're confusing the P&L with the balance sheet. Capital investments show up on the balance sheet, not the P&L statement.

Ya. As soon as i saw the low wage and food stamp comment as the government subsidizing Wal-Mart it lost all semblance of a report and became a political opinion piece. It isn't Wal-Mart's fault that such a large portion of our adult labor force have so little drive that they have few skills so can only get a job stocking shelves or running a cash register.

Musk recently bought land in China and plans to build a Tesla factory there.
I've seen a few Tesla's on the streets here in Las Vegas and they look really good and are quick.
