Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

FS goes to the truck owner who is paying for the fuel. I assume you are a company driver making only 26%.
-
-
so you may be "getting" 26%, but how much are you really getting after that FS..??
maybe only about 20%..???
negotiate for more percentage, or leave, but remember too, that FS may also increase.
sounds to me like you are a 1099 driver...... -
Thanks for that response. In advance.

If the boss is paying for the fuel. He is entitled to the fsc. If your being paid percentage and you pay for the fuel. Your being ripped off.
truckdriver31, MrEd, Tb0n3 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Let's get an example...
Load pays $1,000 plus $100 for fsc (Just keeping math simple)
You are getting paid $260 or what?
In any case, it's whatever your employment agreement states. If you don't like how you are being paid you are free to go elsewhere.Everett Thanks this. -
The truck bills $850 to deliver a load, boss charges $100 fsc, your percent is on the linehaul only, of $750.

Wierd ....I guess i.m too lazy as a truck owner I just take all revenue on my trucks multiply by .25 subtract with holding tax's and send off the direct deposit ......make it to complicated and I think you lose trust
-
then he has to set aside money for taxes, everything else in his life....
gonna be lucky to pocket $10.
