    He was running out of hours, and CFI told the driver to pull off the road in a safe place and take a full 10 hour break

    Years ago I was going around one of those clover leafs with the over banked curves and hit it a bit slow where it almost sucked me into that infield, had to power up and get the tractor up that hill because that infield was filled with other people.

    Most states will give you a ticket if you on the shoulders of those ramps so it was the safest parking, what has we become/?

    A lot of states will at least let you get through the night....I know in Indiana and North Carolina the DOT woke me up and told me to drive to the truck stop, and finish my break. Luckily I parked on the same exits where truck stops were.
