    sorry was using my cell phone and started to type it out and the auto type started to drive me nuts so i just sent....but thanks for the correction. SRT will train you if you have your cdl and some exp. Best thing to do is go to their site and do a quick app. than talk to them and see what they say

    I think the person who started this thread is looking for free training- there is no such thing. You'll pay for it, one way or another. In one case that I know of, you will be locked into 1 year of service after-repeat after- you finish school and the six to eight weeks of training. Leave anytime before that year and you are liable for cost of that education (such as it is) and no pets during that time.

    yes you have to pay like 200-250 to do it and get permission

    Update August 2022: Southern Refrigerated Transport (SRT) is now permanently closed; not sure what happened.

    Don't know why you posted this in a CRST thread, but SRT was already owned by Covenant. Covenant just got rid of the SRT name, moved everything to Tennessee, and closed up the Texarkana terminal. All this happened a couple years back.
