OK, I thought I'd seen it all with this crap

The World Series is underway and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are asking Major League Baseball to do one thing: change the term 'bullpen' to 'arm barn'.

In a press release on Thursday, PETA called on MLB to get rid of the 'outdated' name and change it to a suggestion that is more "animal-friendly."

“Words matter, and baseball ‘bullpens’ devalue talented players and mock the misery of sensitive animals,” PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said in the release. “PETA encourages Major League Baseball coaches, announcers, players, and fans to changeup their language and embrace the ‘arm barn’ instead.”

Despite the memes and jokes created about the 'arm barn,' PETA tweeted that MLB should liberate its language and do better.

"Switching to 'arm barn' would be a home run for baseball fans, players, and animals," PETA said.

PETA said the "bullpen" references where bulls are kept before they are slaughtered. In baseball, the term is refers to the place where relief pitchers warm up during the game.

In 2019 MLB changed the term "Disabled List" for injured players, used as far back as 1887, to the "Injured List" caving to criticism of the term.

LOL. I just got off the phone with my Dad about 30 mins ago. We were joking it’s surprising they still allow them to be called “bat boys”. Shouldn’t girls be allowed to do the job? Also, shouldn’t it be called “bat person” in case they are gender sensitive?

Lastly, the ax chop arm movement... isn’t that somehow offensive to someone? Seems like any kind of hand gesture or arm motion is somehow offensive nowadays.

Won't the bats get offended? Shouldn't the bat boy be the stick tender. I asked the bulls out here, they have no idea what baseball is. They do respect the stick.

Actually ‘bullpen’ is where the bull was kept to be separated from cows, most of the time. He was the luckiest animal on the farm. Got all the feed brought to him daily. When was with the cows, he was mounting them, and screwing like crazy.

When the Antichrist emerges and falsely declares himself to be God. You can be pretty well certain that he won't be ordering the sacrificing of animals. His crowd wouldn't approve of that. They'll be sacrificing human babies instead. They've got no problem with that whatsoever. The legalized Abortion abomination, since 1973, is the prelude that has desensitized our society to the value of the innocent. The Liberals are already out of the closet on being able to kill the child after birth.

Annnnnnndddddddddd so, the All Star game is cancelled in Atlanta, but we can have the World Series.

“Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box,” Manfred said. “In 2020, MLB became the first professional sports league to join the non-partisan Civic Alliance to help build a future in which everyone participates in shaping the United States. We proudly used our platform to encourage baseball fans and communities throughout our country to perform their civic duty and actively participate in the voting process. Fair access to voting continues to have our game’s unwavering support.”

Happy days!!! We ain't bigots no more!!!!!
