Alright, I have few questions that I want pete expert opinion on.
I'm in the process of buying a Pete 387. Here are things I need to have; Cat 15 only, preferably 18 speed;
Q1) Are there any particular year model that is better than others? Mainly, things relating to exhaust
Q2) What kind MPG do you see on an unloaded rig?
Q3) Typically, how many miles before C15 needs a inframe?
Q4) I saw an ad on Ebay for Pete 387 with 1.1 Million mile that had its' inframe done recently with 2 year factory warranty etc for 26.5 K, is something like this a good deal?
Q5) Anything else that you want me to look out for?

I drive one for my co. Its a 04. My biggest complaint is the electrical system. WAY over complicated and badly thought out (the radio has only a5amp breaker if that says anything). The front axle is heavy, but manageable. I get around 6.5-7.0 mpg-only does 62 though.

I have a customer with a cat 2ws that went 1 million 7 hundred and 14 thousand original miles the head or the pan had never been off. we did an inframe cause he thought it might be time to do so. it had the original water pump on it too.
