    Petition banning semi trucks from school zones in FL county gets 1.5k signatures in a week
    Two students collided with each other on their bicycles,the collision threw one of the students into the path of a semi truck,which ran the child over. The truck driver was not at fault. Nonetheless this petition managed to get 1500 signatures in less than a week!
    Are they going to ban other vehicles that possibly could do the same thing???
    It’s hypocritical to say the least.

    Maybe the truck couldn't see the child because the hood was blocking his view and a car could have seen him and stopped in time? It depends if there are alternate routes around the school and whether it isn't too far for trucks to go around.
