qualcomm screwed up. Gary OC just rebooted a couple times and refused to replace the box. Told him what was happening wasn't normal (it was just shutting off and wouldn't reboot successfully for about 45 minutes). Wouldn't listen, sent me on my way. I was spending the night there, so plenty of time to get the unit activated and not be in a rush.

Got over to Edwardsville area today, picked up in East Alton, QC shut off again, took several attempts to finally reboot. When it crashed, it took all my loads with it. Workflow was blank. Pulled into the shop, got the black box replaced.

Waited for a while to get QC activated. Finally called Tech Support and found out that the "activation team" just went home, and won't be back until Monday.

Now I'm on paper logs for a few days all because the guy at the Gary OC didn't want to take 5 minutes to replace a part.

So a Multi billion dollar trucking company has tech support that only works M-F.

Must of got promoted from Customer Service for a job well done.

I'd bet the stock tanks and then the family re purchases it and goes private again in a couple years.

Nah, they will use the stock to acquire other companies so they won't have to use much cash.

Been making real good coin on that fiasco. Lot of opportunity there for those willing to take a risk and that have a bit of money they can afford to lose.

Schneider beat earnings estimates by a penny They earned 14 cents vs 13 estimates for a total profit of 22.6 million in 1Q on revenue of 1.01 billion in this quarter.. That's about a 2% profit on revenue.

This use to aggravate me to no end. I had four boxes replaced in 2015. It got so bad whoever is in charge of such things put a stop work order on my truck until all components were checked at a O.C. Shop guys didn't pay it any mind because it's almost always the box. They are all refurbished junk. Make sure to remind them of what engine you have too. Last last two boxes they didn't program for a 60 series which confuses the speed sensor and causes at least two more days of mass confusion and paper logs.
