    That's alot of speculation..many will read the same message and come up with different conclusions.
    When they saturated the Choice program with more IC's they forgot to expand the freight available to us.
    It seems more and more of the loads that were available to IC's is moving on company trucks.
    Just an observation myself and others have noticed.

    My observation is freight is down across the board, articles and stats everywhere are showing it.
    Everybody will have different opinions but it is what it is.
    Mercer drivers I see are complaining they can't make crap. My Landstar friend agreed to something more dedicated for about $1.38-$1.40 because loads on the board have gone to hell.
    I complained we lost an account to Swift and as someone else commented would it have better if Schneider settled for more cheap freight. Which is true sadly.
    Bottom line things are more tough out here now and at least Schneider holding back hiring it looks for now which is what they should do. Something positive that's all I'm saying.

    They're not going to continue expanding the program if the freight market is in the tank. If they keep expanding it and drivers fail the leases because there isn't enough freight word of mouth will get out that it's a bad program. They're far more concerned about their reputation than they are about any driver

    That message from Michelle Becker might explain why SFI (Schneider Finance) is calling me back, but not Schneider recruiting. I explained to SFI that without an agreement from Schneider Choice, that I can not commit to SFI. My finance rep said she will see what see can find out and call me back, but that was a few days ago.

    Have you tried calling IT about it?

    I was having issues with mine recording line 3 as line 1. Even when manualy switching to line 3, when the threshold was reached it went back to line 1. Called IT and they fixed it.

    I saw a Mercer truck pulling a Swift trailer the other day. I thought man, freight must be awful over there.

    Yep, even my ICA has tried to get them to look at it. Every time they say they can't find any issues. I'm be at an oc next week and have the shop replace it with a new one. As long as I log it all manually I have no issues. Just sometimes in the morning I forget to log it. Just like when I stop to use the bathroom, there are times where I'm in and out in less then 5 minutes but if I don't wait until that qc says 5 minutes it won't keep that duty status but revert back to the last status. Since we can't edit the drive line on here we get screwed by a stupid software update.

    I saw a covenant truck pulling a Schneider trailer last night. That's scary. It had the Schneider on the front and back and a TA14 series trailer. I hope it was one of those $.70/mile loads they pulled.

    You need to be worried when you see Prime pulling a Schneider. Or USA truck:eek:
