    Not exactly "breaking down".
Been having issues that have needed to be resolved....

However tonight a wrecker is on the way to get me.
    So first actual break down.

Bbye $3 a mile 550 mile load I had pre-planned on me as well :(

If that's the case, I honestly may as well not waste my time. I would have no problem doing a one year lease on a SCR truck, but in the long term, I would never commit to more than that on a newer truck...to many problems/expenses unless freight rates in general pick up in the future.

As long as I stay in good areas i have no problems with rates. For those waiting a big $ load picking up Sunday, it's on there now... just had it pulled.
The challenge at least for me is there's a lot less loads to pick from soo it's more difficult to string things together and you have to be fast.

Even doing a one year lease on a new truck means nothing. I had a clutch go on me at 30k miles, Eaton clutch. Now looks like i have engine failure, head gasket blew up perhaps.
Yeah warranty is fine and all but that doesn't pay me for lost revenue or the $1100 a week I still have to pay for.
I just got my truck back a couple weeks ago and it was down being repaired for nearly two weeks... God knows how long this will be now.
The WORST thing is to be paying for a new truck and be breaking down a lot.
As a company driver i went through lots of stress breaking down all the time in my Freightshakers, I hoped a new truck would mean less problems. NOPE!
At this point I don't care what truck... i just want a way to a reliable truck.
I'm starting to think all these emission trucks suck, no matter new or used.. no matter the brand etc.
Tow driver just told me he pulls newer trucks far more than anything else.. i mean wtf is up with that?

What would be nice is if I could get a job in the meantime instead of sitting endlessly.
Heck why can't Schneider let me rent one of their endless trucks they have sitting everywhere while my truck is being fixed.
    That sure would be helpful.

    mxpx148 Thanks this.
