1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    Good morning,

As the title says, I am currently looking for a new company to work for. Having a spotless record without a single accident, ticket, or any violations at all means I can bring professionalism with me when I find my new home. As the title also says, I am slightly picky. If you feel like I might be a good addition to your tanker division based on my needs, feel free to send me a message. If anyone knows of a company that might be looking for someone like me, feel free to reply, I'm all ears.

I currently work as a tanker driver hauling food grade (liquid eggs). I love my job, but it has kept me in what would be considered a (bad) regional position, driving exclusively between Iowa and NJ, with stops mainly off of I-80.

I would like to find a job that is truly OTR, where I will get to drive long hauls. My requirements are as follows:

Work Schedule: I am willing to stay out 3 weeks at a time as long as I can take a week of home time in Mid-Michigan before coming back out. This is important to me as I have a family I love to spend time with. I am no longer willing to go home, sleep a night at the house and turn around and leave.

Location: I live in Michigan, so I would need to be able to take the tractor home for my home time. As stated above, I would prefer a company that would offer long distance runs and not keep me primarily in the north east, as most companies seem to.

Pay: I am currently earning $0.65 CPM with my average paycheck ranging from 1400 to 2300 on excellent weeks. It swings violently. I would like to do better than this if I can, with a more predictable weekly check.

I would like to stick to no-touch food grade, but I am willing to get my hazmat back if needed and move into that type of position.

So, if anyone knows a company that might be looking for a driver like me, I'd love to hear from you!
