Not sure why this notion that e-logs kill miles exists. And why people feel the only way to get miles is to cheat a paper logbook. This is the 2nd company I have worked for that has run e-logs. At BOTH places, my e-logs always had more hours available at the end of day 8. And when dispatched efficiently, e-logs turned MORE miles LEGALLY. When I drove Magnums loaner 587 earlier this month, in the 1st 8 days, I logged over 3800 paid miles...L-E-G-A-L-L-Y, with just over an hour left on my 70. Of course it was a 64.5 mph speed demon. I truely wish people would stop acting like e-logs are going to end the trucking world as we know it.
Rant over...now back to the @Pigbacon Food Network audition festivities.powerstroke67, RickyDickyDo, Xeres63 and 6 others Thank this. -
I always have hours left on my 70 with paper logs

I just ran 3018 paid miles in 6 days in a 73 mph truck. I had 14:25 left on my 70 running on e-logs.

Good to see you're alive!RickyDickyDo, supersnackbar, gdyupgal and 1 other person Thank this. -
The big deal will be the inability to rip out a paper log book page and start your day over whenever you want or need to. My boss is going to be really surprised that I can't drive 18 hrs a day anymore.

I'm in Columbus, MT tonight, not too far West from Billings.
Stopped at 307 bar & grill. Appropriate look for a Montana bar. Kind of like a cabin on the inside and out.
The restaurant has a pool table and a casino inside.
I had the Walleye and fries. It also comes with soup or salad (which I declined) and a small loaf of sourdough bread.
The fish was cooked perfectly. It was light and flaky. Bread was great and came with real butter! I had great speedy service.
It has a large gravel parking lot, big enough to park our rides, between the restaurant and the gas station.
Great news. If your ever here "tomorrow," you get free beer!
Just beware of the vicious guard dog protecting the till!
Overall a solid choice to finish the day and spend a night!Attached Files:
