Any of you guys ever had to deliver/pick up here? Reason I'm asking is, various times (late p.m./early a.m.) I find myself on I-59 near Bessemer, and you can look over and there's like 100 trucks lined up trying to get in. Do they close at night or something, or are they just that slow? I'd hate to have to go there and wait that long.

Most of those trucks are just waiting for the gate to open, thats why you see so many of them sitting there. They like to go in as early as they can so they can back the lot up. I always liked going there and having the lumpers hollering at me as i got off the highway, said no like 20 times every time. Always used the same lumper there and he got me in several hours before my appointment since i had other places to go afterwards, just called day before i was suppose to be there.

They open at 5 am. The guard announces on the cb all 5am appointments to come in then the fun starts. You should have your door assignment on your bills. You get that when you make the appointment. Not to bad a place if you unload your self. I always do it there myself and am out within an hour or 2.

I was just wondering. Man, I'd sure hate to be that guy at the very end of the line. He might as well plan on staying there all day!
